Amaru Zoom app guide
Last updated: June 27, 2026
The Amaru Zoom integration helps coaches and organizations automatically attach Zoom meeting details to scheduled sessions. This guide explains how to add, use, configure, disconnect, and remove the app.
Before you begin
- You need an active Amaru account with permission to manage integrations.
- You need a Zoom account that you are authorized to connect.
- Your browser must allow pop-ups for the Zoom authorization window.
How to add the Zoom app
- Sign in to Amaru at https://www.amaruplatform.com/signin.
- Open Settings, then Integrations.
- Find Zoom and choose Connect or Authorize.
- Review the Zoom authorization screen and approve the requested access.
- After Zoom redirects you back to Amaru, confirm that the Zoom integration shows as connected.
How to use Zoom in Amaru
- Open Settings, then Integrations.
- Set your preferred meeting provider to Zoom if multiple providers are available.
- Create or update a session type, booking, or package that uses online meetings.
- When an eligible booking is scheduled, Amaru creates or attaches Zoom meeting information and displays the meeting link where authorized users can access session details.
- Share session information through Amaru’s normal booking confirmations, reminders, and client communications.
How to manage configuration
After authorization, manage the integration from Settings → Integrations. From there, authorized users can review connection status, choose a meeting provider, reconnect Zoom, or disconnect Zoom from the workspace.
How to disconnect Zoom from Amaru
- Sign in to Amaru.
- Open Settings, then Integrations.
- Find Zoom and choose Disconnect or De-authorize.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
- Amaru will stop using the disconnected Zoom account for new Zoom meeting creation. Existing bookings may retain previously generated meeting information unless edited or removed according to your workflow.
How to remove the app from Zoom
- Sign in to your Zoom account.
- Open the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Go to Manage, then Added Apps.
- Find the Amaru app and choose Remove.
- Confirm removal in Zoom.
If you remove the app from Zoom first, also return to Amaru Settings → Integrations to confirm the integration is disconnected or reconnect it with a valid Zoom account.
Troubleshooting
- If authorization fails, confirm you are signed in to the correct Zoom account and that pop-ups are enabled.
- If meeting links are not generated, confirm Zoom is connected and selected as the meeting provider in Amaru.
- If you see an access or permission error, ask your Amaru organization administrator to verify your role and integration permissions.
